I've just come back from Sainsburys a while back. Picked up a few of their creme brulee 2x100g which are normally priced at £1.75 each. They come in these cute glass dishes too which I'm hoping to get a bit of use out of afterwards.
There were some other desserts for £1 too including tiramisu and panna cotta but I don't think they came in glass dishes.

Are they any good? I haven't got round to eating them yet. And trust me, free glass pots come in handy when you work with Montessori kids. They're forever breaking them. Even just as a paint/glue/plant pot

I don't seem to have the knack of making the crispy sugar topping - I have tried the grill and a blow torch but no luck !

Hmm, now I remember those satchets of sugar! I tucked in too quick to notice them.
And the glass is great for olive oil and vinegar dips

Make sure the grill is at red hot prior to putting them under, leave for 3-4 mins, then put straight into the fridge for 10-15 mins....Voila, crispy on top :man:
