Needed a printer for work this week that was laser based for printing on laser PCB masks (yeah pretty specialist) - so had to look for a deal as not too many cheap laser deals on at the mo.
I know some people will say not as good as the historical £21 groupon code deal - but that was 7 months ago, and I couldnt find much at all for £30 with a starter toner and wireless. Certainly the cheapest anywhere at the mo far as I can see - and still a good deal for what it is
3rd party 3k page replacement toners availiable on ebay and like for bout £17 - cheap printing right there.
Print 22ppm Print Resolution 1200 x 600 dpi Fast 25 second warm-up First print delivered in 10 seconds 150 sheet front loading paper tray Ships with 700 page starter cartridge Wireless / USB 2.0 Connectivtiy 2 Year Warranty
Hopefully helps someone

Laser printers use powder toner, not liquid ink, so drying ink isn't a problem. I switched from inkjet to a colour Ricoh laser for occasional use, and it prints first time every time, even after not being used for weeks or even months on end.

Great little printer, so easy to just print directly from your mobile.
Perfect for all those Amazon warehouse returns.
For those that live in Birmingham, specifically East Birmingham, Box have a store near Minworth where you can collect products from to avoid shipping charges and to receive same day.

Laser PCB masks? Tell us more .. Still using vero/breadboard here for my oddities, so if this can branch me into the field of PCB making at home I might bite! :innocent:

Well there is the laser transfer method (best googling it for a tutorial as the pics are almost self explanatory)
If your designs are not too complex it works quite well... I would buy a resist pen to touch-up the inevitable small bits that dont stick down when you lift 'off'.
I have done the transfer method it but now need something more reproducible for multiples, so... now I need to print on transparency-like stuff thats suitable for a UV box and its like £25 for 5 sheets of inkjet compatible stuff, and less than a tenner for 25 of the laser-printable version, so I am going to that... but I dont want to mess up my good printer for work either, so hence needed a cheapie laser to do this
I use diptrace for drawing the pcb and then its a case of print, expose by UV, then etch, which you can do a variety of ways depending on budget, drill your holes and your done :sunglasses:

I had trouble tried wps etc, only got it to work by assigning an iP address and it works flawlessly even through app on android, also bought this replacement toner and it seems to work as good as original:

I very sproadically use the printer and was sick of epsons being blocked when I did go to use them
