Why collect dust? you don't eat/like rice?
I have one (not this one) since 6 years ago one and use it 2-3 times a week.
also rice cookers aren't really a gadget and been around for more than 50 years.
essential kitchenware in many countries.

Voted hot. But Lidl do not sell online or in large quantitiy like Aldi. They use cheap items like this as bait to their stores. When I reach there , all the bargain stuff like this one has already disappeared and waste of my time. Only the expensive stuff which no one buys or damaged customer returns are still there.

We have one of these and it's very good - definitely does not gather dust at the back of the cupboard. The only downside is that it's quite fiddly to clean.

Had one of these a couple of years now and wouldn't cook rice any other way.
