Picked this up today. Not sure if its been cheaper but seems a pretty good price to me. If you want to try it out there is a demo on the Xbox store.
From the legendary creator Keiji Inafune and the makers of Metroid Prime comes “ReCore”, an action-adventure masterfully crafted for a new generation. As one of the last remaining humans on a planet controlled by robotic foes bent on your destruction, you must forge friendships with a courageous group of robot companions, each with unique abilities and powers. Lead this band of unlikely heroes on an epic adventure through a mysterious, dynamic world. You can’t save mankind alone.

really enjoyed this game but was so annoyed you basically had to find all orbs to finish the main story

Agreed. This annoyed me SO much I sent it back (thankfully was only renting it). Thought the game was really good until you're forced to find ALL collectibles. Such a bad game mechanic IMO. Put collectibles in a game, fine, but allow players to choose whether or not they collect all of them!
Great price either way, cheapest it's been in a long long time.

Yeah been playing this and reached the tower to find that you need all orbs to finish the story. Decent game but I probably wont finish it.

That sounds really annoying and a reason why I won't buy this game

When are they going to release the patch that adds the new robot? I read about this not long after it came out so stopped playing. Heated

This is also a sticking point for me. I loved metroid prime and supported it enough to re-buy the trilogy as soon as it was released on Wii U, so I wanted to love ReCore. The game released mid September 2016, which was more than eight months ago. In December they talked publicly about the robot coming "early next year" which was widely publicised, but it's been radio silence since then and in four days it will be June, which I don't think many people would call early.
Three days ago they tweeted the extremely vague "EXCITING NEWS COMING SOON-ISH!", which best guess means E3 which isn't until mid June this year. Some speculate a definitive version, 4k update, the last robot finally being released... it's anybody's guess since they haven't given out any good information after all this time.
If I'm in either supermarket I will keep an eye out for this low price, but if I buy I am keeping it in the wrapper with the receipt until they finally tell the truth. It might sound petty but how can you financially reward the virtual abandonment of the community after the game's been released for sale. If they finish the game through free patches, I can enjoy it. If they finish it with a definite edition at a fair price, I can get that. But if you buy this for a tenner and they release the rest of the game as fifteen quid of DLC you kind of lose out, right?

Did not know this. I enjoyed the demo of this and for a tenner it's definitely worth a punt, but after knowing I'd be forced to find EVERYTHING it'll stay on the shelves until it hits GWG...
