I have a 24v Qualcast that came with mower/strimmer kit.
I have been really pleased wth it so far, much more convenient than corded.

I got one of these recently, very pleased with it. I only use it for trimming lawn edge- if you want it for heavy clearing I am doubtful it has the power

No reflection on the deal just remember that Qualcast isn't the brand you may remember it's now Argos licenced name they use on their own brands.

I have that too (Argos deal last year that came with an extra battery), it's fantastic, can't imagine going back to cordless.

Had mine 2 years. Very easy to use. Like the lawn edging function. Still using the strimmer line that came with it. Can use it on my garden which takes 20 mins or so with no loss of power. Lightweight and manageable and folds down a little for storage. Would highly recommend it.

Have two (cheaper than buying a second battery when I got mine). Excellent piece of kit, used almost exclusively for edging and battery charge lasts ages. batteries compatible with a pole hedge trimmer too.
They may be 'Chinese tat' but they work well.

Bought this yesterday from Homebase's for same price to replace an old Bosch cordless strimmer. The Bosch lasted for about 5 years and I only replaced as the battery eventually went. This strimmer was easy to set up and I used for about 20 mins without having to re-charge. Bargain for the price.
