Two reasons I won't buy this.
1, It looks rubbish, one of my favourites was call of duty 3,nice a simple,no stupid future stuff and everyone had a choice of just half a dozen weapons,so it was a very even playing field.
2,call of duty IMO needs to be purchased on day 1 or close to it to feel like you are part of it,otherwise it's like turning up to a party hours late, all the buffet has been eaten and everyone else is well drunk and you feel the odd one out.

Worth it just for Zombies in spaceland. Heat added.

Don't know why people are judging it based on the online. Don't ever play CoD for multiplayer, it's been awful for many many years now. Too fast paced, stupid weapons, stupid abilities.
The campaign however is excellent on this. Well worth the tenner. Then simply sell on when you've completed it.

Yeah, it's not my thing, either. The last one I purchased was Black OPS II. But, it's still the cheapest I've seen it new

Whic call of duty would you recommend for single player or is it just online play? The last game of this type i played was Medal of Honor(ps2) and rainbox 6 loved it as single player mode.

For me the best was call of duty 3,and the original call of duty modern warfare.

LOL,by that comment I can tell you really did play call of duty 3
I would pay good money to have a remastered version of that game, and when I say remastered I mean just better graphics,AND THAT'S IT !
It was the only cod I was really good at.There was no official ranking system, but on forums and such like I was ranked 4th in Europe.Wouldnt be ranked that now mind,my reactions are too slow,so slow I miss my own birthday.

<3 this cod, perhaps not my fav but I enjoy playing which ever is the current one and I have enjoyed all cods since playing my first (MW3) - the progression to future/ space did not deter me one bit. Prestige 10 now, almost 11 and had started to feel the fun of it was finally drawing to a close when I got given a very :sunglasses: supply drop which I had waited many many hours for and now I am right back in the thick of it!

Thanks for sharing OP, for less than a tenner this is worth a playthrough and heard the Zombies mode is good fun on this too. People saying the campaign in this is actually decent too. If I don't like it can easily put it on ebay/trade it in. Have some heat

I'm really sad to hear people aren't playing this on principle - I'm halfway through my first playthrough after only really buying it for the MW Remaster, and I'm really, really impressed by it. It's not over the top, it doesn't take the mick, the weapons all work and make sense, there are loads of optional missions, and the storyline's really surprising.
But, you know, their loss. £10's an absolute steal for this, if you're looking for a really good shooter.

COD went rapidly downhill after MW2.
Cod4, waw and mw2 were unbelievable games! Can't wait for the new one to come out, back to basics!

Got really hard to find a full multiplayer lobby at one point, this cheap price may get more players online.

I enjoyed the SP campaign quite a bit on this. Most enjoyable for a while imo.
