In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted. As you dig into the dark secrets of Talos I and your own past, you must survive using the tools found on the station -- your wits, weapons, and mind-bending abilities. The fate of the Talos I and everyone aboard is in your hands.
Sci-fi Thriller
Nothing is as it seems aboard Talos I. As Morgan Yu, set out to unravel the clues you've left behind for yourself, and discover the truth about your past. What role will you play in TranStar’s plans, and the mysterious threat ravaging the station?
Singular Setting
Orbiting the Moon, the Talos I space station symbolizes the height of private space enterprise. Explore a lavish craft designed to reflect corporate luxury of the 1960s, and navigate interconnected, non-linear pathways built to hide countless secrets.

Challenge
Customize your gameplay options and difficulty settings for an even more tailored adventure. You can make the experience more challenging (or easier) by changing a myriad of parameters related to stealth, movement and combat.
Play Your Way
Gain alien abilities to develop a distinct combination of powers and upgrade your unique skills. Craft increasingly useful items with the blueprints, gadgets and tools on board the station to overcome dangerous obstacles in your way. Survive unprecedented threats with your wits and ability to improvise.

You're comparing two entirely differently styles of game there...You clearly don't realize what this game is supposed to be if you think it's a generic FPS. Horizon isn't exactly innovative, anyway. This is far more than just another generic FPS and is more of return to aimmersive games such as System shock and Bioshock.

The demo on the PS4 was rubbish. It looked terrible and the controls on console are awful. The PC plays and looks much better.

This seems very cheap already. I thought it would be a while before it came down to this sort of price, it's not even been a week. I wonder why it's that low so soon.

This game is getting great reviews but selling poorly. It doesn't seem like many people even realise it's released.
Bethesda have a policy where they DON'T hand out review copies of the game before launch. This means people who are into gaming and read articles, watch youtube, buy magazines etc won't even know it's out as there are no reviews.
Stupid policy, ruining great games with poor sales. Seems like many shops are just trying to shift stock and may have over-bought.

These had it for £25.99 as a preorder so not a huge drop.
By all accounts it's a decent game just not been getting much press.

I had a problem with the code they sent me earlier, Steam rejected it with an error but actually added the game to my library. Just a heads-up to anyone else with the same issue.

Steam did that to me when I redeemed a Humble Bundle key recently.

I think a lot of people think this game is what emerged from the troubled development of Prey 2, rather than a new game started by a different studio. Add to that the dumb Bethesda review policy and I'm not surprised it's struggling. Shame because by all accounts it's very good (I haven't started it yet).

Another dull story FPS witth someone talking in your ear on a crackly radio the whole way. Much better games out there now with actual innovation in gameplay like horizon or zelda or witcher 3. Try the prey demo first on ps4/xbox if you're thinking of buying.

Demo was a pretty poor representation of the game, final game is great. Also Horizon shouldn't even be in the list alongside those 2 when it comes to 'innovation', it's pretty much Far Cry 3/4 in third person from a gameplay loop perspective.

Zelda is about as innovative as a slice of toast. All they did was took the old Zelda formula and added survival and open world elements to it.

Plus it's a single player only game so a lot of PC users will just be waiting for the five finger discount edition.
