Maybe these will be better but I've tried a pair of 2.4Ghz headphones and they were susceptible to interference from a nearby wifi access point - constant clicking and glitching whenever there was network activity.

I bought a pair of these when they dropped to £40 in 2014 (Amazon daily deal). I have them hooked up to my mixer so that I can listen to records when the house needs to be quiet otherwise. The sound quality is, on balance, excellent but they unit itself creaks a little when you wear it and you are moving around, which starts off annoying but you don't notice after a while. Never managed to run the batteries down in normal use.
If you have a use for them then I would say they are still great value for £50.
