just picked up two of the Onn ones for £11 each in Colchester! (none of the other deals about except the Xbox headset, they'd sold out of the PlayStation 4 games I checked :neutral_face: )

I got one of these at £45 a while back. Great radio. 10 preset buttons - and they're on top so you can press them without the radio moving across the table. The speaker is pretty big so the sound is pretty good.

No, it's pretty good. On battery power, the off button puts it into a deeper sleep than on mains power. It takes longer to turn on when in battery mode, but it's still more responsive than my mum's Pure Evoke Mio. There are stats online to list the run times on battery. It's not a cheap way to listen but it's not preposterously energy draining like dab used to be. The wake-to-radio function doesn't work in battery mode, if that's important.

Tesco listing claims 33 hrs battery. Not too sure about that, but it's not entirely unbelievable.
I have this DAB radio and can confirm it is a cracker
Build quality is great and sound quality is fantastic, crystal clear on every station be it DAB or FM no hissing or bubbly noises you get from other DAB's
I regularly hear very high frequency sounds from my Panny that I never hear even in the car..
It regularly sends people to the front door because they thought they heard a sound, then can't believe when they realise it was actually the radio, it almost throws the music out in a 3D spatial type sound
I love it!
Never used it on batteries so can't comment on battery life
Microwaves and other electrical items that usually interfere with some DABS don't have any effect on the Panny,
so you just know the components inside are of a decent quality..
I paid £60 for mine in Sainsburys and you hardly ever see them reduced, I have only once and that was down to £45 last year for a week, then back up to £60 since.
10 Presets on the top of the radio for DAB and they can be used again for FM stations too, so no fiddly dials to tune, the LCD backlit display can be turned off or you can have it set to constantly on all the time which I have done..Has built in graphic equaliser to arrange how you want your bass and treble to sound
Its FM, DAB and DAB+ and pulls in weak signals really well
Probably the best transistor type radio I have ever owned and I have owned a few
I had a Roberts before this and it blew the Roberts into the weeds, so thats how good this radio is

They don't even have them in my Asda superstore, they have never stocked them!
I have just come back from there after having another look but no nothing in my store..
If you can find one of these in your stores then wow grab it quick because that would be the bargain of the year at £16

Guess it's fine for price. Mine has a noticeable hiss at low levels. The display has poor a viewing angle too.
