Switch is region free so you just need to switch your region on the console... you will need a credit card or bank card that allows international purchases.
Though is there really anyone who has not played Minecraft enough!

The plural of Lego is Lego. The s is not required.

Heat for the price, however the OP is misleading. You don't just change region on the Switch. You need to create an account for the region and then use that account when accessing the eShop.
How to set up an account to access another country's store:
1. Go to https://accounts.nintendo.com/ and create a new account
2. Select the country and time zone of the store you wish to access
3. On your switch console, create a new account and link your newly created Nintendo account to it.
4. Access the eShop, you will be prompted to select which account to use for that session. Just pick which store you want to access
Question to the OP, how did you purchase the game? Were you able to use a credit or debit card, or eShop credit? If it was credit, where did you purchase it from?
Thanks

Is this only available from the E-Shop at the moment? I want a download but hoping some online shops will offer discounted codes (similar to the BotW expansion).

No, there won't be a physical copy. But why have you had enough of downloadable games? It's not as if you can lose them.

The Switch needs a trophy system for me to start a new world all over again.

So has anyone confirmed that this can actually be purchased by people located in the UK? From my understanding on how the Eshop worked you can only use a UK bank/credit card on the UK Eshop, you cannot use it to purchase titles from other Eshops such as US or Japan, for those you need to buy gift cards and apply those to your account. All well and good then.
Here is the kicker, apparently Eshop Gift Cards are not sold by retailers in South Africa, so how can you apply funds to your account if you cannot use your UK bank cards?
