I can't understand why this is getting so much hate, taking that in too account I'm surprised it hasn't gone below £30 yet, think I will wait a bit longer as I still have a few hours play left on ea access.

To each their own, but speaking as someone who is/was a massive Mass Effect fan with the original limited collector's edition trilogy on xbox 360, art books and even mass effect. monopoly - I can honestly say I wouldn't even buy this for a fiver, it's just an absolute sh*t-show piece of trash. Laughable quality from a studio that is devoid of the original writing and programming talent that made the original trilogy.
Don't take my word for it, just go watch some reviews on YouTube. The bugs are laughable and game breaking, the inventory system is a mess, the writing and voice talent is a joke.
I don't mean to pour cold water on what I'm sure is seen by some as a good value deal, but there's a reason the Mass Effect franchise has now been put on ice by EA, and that's because despite having 5 years to prepare and make this, they gave it to a supporting second rate arm of the Bioware studios and outsourced (and didn't check the animation code) to third parties , which is why so much of the game is a broken train wreck.
Even after patches designed to help matters addressing things like the animations, this game is still terrible.
Buyer beware. Check the reviews on YouTube!.

I am on the opposite side of the fence, massive Mass Effect fan and found this to be an enjoyable game which is better than the original (not as good as 2 or 3). Sure it's got some problems and is far from perfect but the combat is fun, worlds are great to explore all the little areas. Not sure how console is but on PC this is a fantastic port
Have 61 hours invested in the game and not even close to the end, some dry humour and certain characters are a little bland but as an overal package I would rate it as a 8 (or maybe 9) out of 10. No one is going to say it's the best ever and some may even not enjoy it but I personally love it.

All Mass Effect fans that I know have said this is trash, I'll wait until it drops closer £20. And to think I replayed ME trilogy in anticipation for this one!

I reckon it will be September/October when this is on EA Access. Not in a rush to play this.

I was disappointed with the poor frame rates at times in the 10 hour demo on EA Access but the PC version plays nicely, even with an FX6300 @4.5GHz and a 6GB GTX 1060 so I'd recommend that version if your PC can handle it :sunglasses:
