If you have loved Mafia 1 & 2, cherish the memories and stay away from this. I'm deeply disappointed having bought this game. :disappointed:

Identikit missions - to the point that you're actually clearing out the same hideouts over and over again. Internal layouts of different buildings are the same time and time again too. Only three enemy types, glitchy shenanigans, no difficulty.... It's not great.
That said, some good world-building, good performances, some well written dialogue and an interesting narrative framing device. it's probably worth £15, but I wish I'd waited for a tenner.

I paid full price this off psn and felt I got my money's worth out of it. The criticisms are spot on in that the structure of the game is very samey. Taking out rackets to get to underbosses. But the facial animation and style of the game is great. Real 70s feel to it all.

I didn't, I was in a rush, and they had a very meagre sale selection comprising of about 10 different ink cartridges, and £20 off a vacuum cleaner. They didn't have the hand scanners in store

Its a good game but the main character didn’t really feel like a gangster in the classic sense.
Also the maps are huge and they didn’t include fast travel which became quite annoy after awhile only helped by the awesome soundtrack you can listen to on the car stereo while driving.
