This was reduced to clear Tesco Brigg, £9.99 down to £4.50 then with the current 25% off if you purchase 6 it works out £3.38 a bottle. I managed to get last 5 bottles and added another type to make up to 6 bottles. It's worth a look if you're near or at your local Tesco. Oh, sadly the 25% off was only off the £4.50 not the £9.99. It's not online either, I've just looked. They also have cava which is £5 a bottle, £3.75 each if you get 6 which is decent price. Hardys crest Sauvignon Blanc works out £3.94 each if you get 6 which I also thought was decent as you rarely see it for less than a fiver these days

I bought a load of this but tried one and wasn't so keen so returned it and they refunded it at £4.50 a bottle so quids in. Bought some of the diablo merlot posted on here instead. Don't think it's a bad wine just not to my taste. Heat for the price.

I tried a bottle after being told how good it was and let's just say that I also bought a bottle of the Lidl Cimarosa South African Cabernet Sauvignon that was on offer at £2.99 last weekend and preferred that one. Easily drinkable with food and far better than expected. I wish I'd bought more now.

It shows how tastes differ. I bought a load of the Lidl Cimarosa @ £2.99 and didn't like it at all. Managed to get through a bottle between 2 of us. Just sampling the Tesco Diablo Merlot now and it is much smoother. I am going to return the Lidl stuff

I read the reviews online while instore, took the plunge and bought 4 bottles last week + two other reds and it's seriously dreadful wine Very very acidic - two steps away from being vinegar. I thought I had bought five bottles as I was going to return all the wine and start again. I may still do that but not sure if they will refund on less than 6. Great price terrible taste.

I returned 5 of the 6 I bought with 25% off and they refunded it at full price so go for it.

Did you try it with food ? Found it smoother that way. Will try the rose and French white that they have on offer this weekend as they appear to have good ratings.
