You're absolutely right. They're completely bonkers. It would be much more logical to post: "My last one lasted 10 or 12 years, amazing quality, so I wouldn't buy that brand again".

What has anything built in a different factory, by different people, to different standards, out of different materials, to a different design, with different people deciding the price of parts etc etc etc, of 12 years ago, have to do with something built today?
