LEITZ "ARE" An Established Brand LOL, just because they are German doesn't make them less established...
You've obviously never been in a STAPLES Store, they are a massive German stationary brand and Quality at that, I would say they were a Premium Brand personally, and this is a FANTASTIC price for this printer I admit I don't know anything about compatibles, so that would be a concern, but This is a cracking little Thermal transfer printer.
The reviews suggest Royal mail printing is a little hit and miss due to size changes, but an Amazon review shows a work around that he hasn't had any returns from so seems viable.
Hot deal for the Product though!! Great spot!

Why would I do that when I've just commented

Never heard of this brand, so would rather go for an established Brother, Dymo etc type printer as getting replacement or OEM labels is going to be alot easier, but here's a review nonetheless:

Leitz are an established brand, but they cater more to the premium market. Dymo is a Casio to Leitz's Omega. This is an insane price for this printer.

Looks good but are there third party cartridges as their own ones are very expensive

Then it's a bit silly claiming it's a good label printer when you don't know how easy or difficult it is to obtain different labels at an economical price.

No, it can be a good label printer regardless of the availability of third party supplies. I like the idea of the variable length labels, can see some interesting uses for this.

A label printer is only as good as the availability and cost of replacement labels.
That's 8p per label. That's a ridiculous cost if you're sending out mailshots.

Do you really think that £17+ for 225 basic address labels is good value for money?
