I'm forever losing my keys, it's a natural talent for me, so i've decided to finally do something about it and pick up one of these nifty little devices to stop the endless search!
These trackers are all over the place these days, but I figured one made by a reputable name was worth trying, especially at this price.

but does it make an annoying, repetitive chirping noise when you whistle at it?

I just ask the wife where she hid them.

no, this will just tell the person pinching your phone how close the person with your keys is.

I've had a couple of similar cheap key finders like this, and all ended up in the bin. you'll be forever having to pair them with your phone.
I've now got the Lapa, and it's great. It just works.

When my phone battery's dead, it's pretty easy to find. It's by the socket. On charge.

Ignore that review. It was a complaint about Bluetooth, and not really a valid argument. The product is what it is.

I had the older version of this (by Kensington) and it was appalling. It kept disconnecting and the app kept crashing. I'd be surprised if this was much better.

Funny. But seriously because it has an audible alarm it could be quite useful for example from stopping you losing your phone when you've had a few beers. That is if you can remember anything from the evening.
You could argue it performs this function better as it probably alerts you if the phone switched off too, preventing you from losing a phone with a dead battery, provided you don't lose it afterwards.

not much of a deal when you include the extortion delivery cost. :disappointed:
