Awesome game, recently completed it for the second time on PS4. The gunplay is ridiculously satisfying, worth it for that alone. Blowing up giant robot apes with a plasma railgun = guaranteed joy.

Isn't there a 'Redux' version? Anyone know if it's a big improvement?
Have been tempted by this one before, Shadow Warrior was brilliant.

Amazing game. Redux The Redux version was controversial because some people saw it as a graphical downgrade in some areas. I think I got the extended edition free with Redux but I've only ever played Redux because they added in the Shadow Warrior dodge and a sword :smiley:. I largely used weapon combos though as the sword isn't as good.
Shame they had to get rid of the discount for Shadow Warrior owners. Hope they are working on a sequel.

I got the Redux version free from Amazon Twitch a couple of months ago. Wasn't expecting much at all, but was really good fun and the graphics of the Redux version were pretty much up towards today's standards. I don't know if the graphics would hold up from the original, but it is definitely worth playing for a simple blast.

Can anyone tell me what the difficulty options are? I'm looking for an easy setting as I'm pretty lame at FPS'. Thanks OP for the deal +1 heat.

They tweaked the difficulty on the redux version of this game. If your not great at shooters stick it on easy.

Thanks - that's perfect. I couldn't find whether there was an easy option even available and I was kind of hesitant as there were lots of various forum posts saying the normal is tough.

Steam controller is the best gamepad for FPS if you don't like mouse and keyboard.
Xbox one and dualshock 4 are both good in general. Depends on which you prefer.
