I worked on that case. They never caught the gorilla despite questioning its previous penads and rounding up known penads in the area.

Look at the range of Gorilla products - only one of the glues expands. I use Gorilla wood glue for (surprise surprise) gluing wood and Gorilla Super Glue. They also make a 2-part epoxy (like Araldite et al) which I haven't tried yet. Some sort of contact adhesive is also an essential glue to have on hand.
