Absolute nonsense.

I bought a Goodmans sound bar on sale half price at £40. It was terrible. Unfortunately it's marred my expectations of cheap soundbars, I feel you get what you pay for. Unless I can try one for a week, I'm steering clear.

I think if you're going to have separate parts to a soundbar, it should be a dedicated subwoofer. Every once in a while I see ok offers in Sainsbury's for around £65. I would save the £25 and put it towards a highly rated one from Amazon (not necessarily bought from them). Haven't voted hot or cold, as this might be ideal for some.

Well buy cheap buy twice... I would not go for anything less than this if you want to actually hear clear crisp dialogue and have a bit of bass for action sequences..
