Right... This is something we don't see very often on here and being an Ex-skateboarder, I thought I'd see what I could find. Now, to those that don't know, not every skateboard is equal. There are different woods, metals (Trucks), wheel compounds, bearings, griptapes, bushings and board widths.
They all have a big affect on the ride and how well tricks can be performed. If the wood is too soft, getting it off the ground can be more difficult. Maple is king! Cheaper boards tend to soften up too, especially in damp conditions. Even with decent boards like these though, keep them as dry as possible to get the longevity out of them
So yeah, you can pick up a skateboard for £20, but there will be a massive difference for the rider over a more expensive quality board. Prices here look good for what you get and they include delivery.
When I used to skate I was paying around £100 for the parts and building it myself, some of the decks alone can be upto £60+, so sometimes buying a complete can save you some dosh and time.
Maybe something to consider for the older kids that are showing an interest or those that already skate - As far as I can tell these brands are still "Down with the kids" Unlike myself  I'm normally down in the shed
7.5" is the width (Which was my ideal back in the day)
Bearings are Abec 5
Long story short, the higher the abec number the tighter the tolerances are and effectively the faster they can go. (Abec ranges are 1,3,5,7 and 9) Was a fan of 5 or 7s myself
Trucks: Darkstar - raw/black
7.5" Complete
US Graphic
Ready To Ride
Birdhouse Trucks
Birdhouse 52mm Wheels
ABEC 7 Bearings

A little while ago they had a similar deal on Almost completes, like this a good deal, and much better than a "toy" skateboard complete from a toy shop.
I remember my first skateboard was a Variflex complete, I'd love one of these, but I'd be in deep trouble now if I went skating  Not so much the going skating but the phonecall to explain to the missus why I'm in casualty

Yeah, The superhero models, They were really good last time.
Had my fair share of falls and a shattered ankle back in the early 2000's! Was all part and parcel at that point
Love the Globe - Opinion section with Rodney Mullen, it was his style that influenced me back then. I was never amazing at doing tricks down steps, but not awful. Flat-landing it and spinning around like crazy though... LOVED it

Fairly Certain The Birdhouse setup is Good value for money and i would rate it very much a mid range setup.
Anyways - I'm adding heat as any reason to get the kids outside like we used to be is well worth the money IMO.
