You don't have to be faffing about with full on custom water cooling loops to make use of the extra space in the front of the Define S. I find the extra space gives peace of mind knowing I can have a large, push/pull AIO in the front of the case (it's quieter and lets in less dust than removing the ModuVent covers and putting it in the top) and still fit a 300mm+ GPU.

However, yeah, if you're absolutely sure you're not going to use the extra space for anything useful, you might be better served with the Define C.

Yeah, it was at night that the blue LEDs annoyed me too, I thought white would be less distracting and hadn't really considered not having any until I'd disconnected the blue ones and realised I quite liked it. Mine is the black windowless one, so it looks a bit like a normal office PC, which is kinda the aesthetic I was going for; a sort of industrial minimalism kinda thing.

It meets my needs perfectly, too. I can't see that I'd ever need a new case for any hardware compatibility reason and the Define S seems to be about as quiet as cases get without using something like that (very expensive...) fanless thing Calyos are coming out with.

I was going to get the non window case as Im not into window cases but for some reason I changed my mind and after watching plenty of reviews on both non window and the window version, I went for the titanium window version. It is dead queit, even though one side doesnt have the full dampning.
I like the blue led light, gives it a nice sleek look. The only time I dont like it is when Im sitting back at night to watch some of my tv shows or films then it does irritate me, but not a problem as I just cover it up with a phone case or something.

I used to have a full tower case and this met my needs perfectly, both size and looks wise. Still got plenty of space in there to do more. Bare in mind that I was willing to spend upto £200 on a case but didnt find any that I liked and weren't worth the money.

A superb case; one is sitting at my feet now. The only thing I don't like is the 'wasted space' where the optical/HDD bays would be on a normal case. If you're going to use water cooling then this is obviously useful for resevouir and pumps but for mere-mortals it makes it look like something is missing. If I were buying now, I'd go for the Define-C with the PSU shroud!

Yeah, it's ridiculously good. I've got the non-windowed version of the Define S, so I got sound deadening material on both side panels, and to call it whisper quiet would be doing it an injustice; it's way quieter than a person whispering.

I disconnected the power and HDD indicator LEDs. My original plan was to swap the standard blue ones for white, but once I'd disconnected the blue LEDs I decided I really liked the understated, no LED look. In fact, overall it's a really understated case, I'm really glad that at least one company are making well spec'd, reasonably priced cases which can take high end hardware but don't have that awful, tacky, RGB-LED "gamer" aesthetic.

Also forgot to say........its the most silent case I've ever bought and seen. Honestly I can't even tell its on unless I look to see if the light is on at the top or if I see the motherboard led through the side window.

Dont know about this model but I've got the Define R5, which looks very similar.
I spent ages trying to decide which case to get and the R5 for me is brilliant, even though its a mid tower, it is huge for what it is. The R5 has a bay for adding external/optical drives.
