Mine arrived yesterday, it is one huge box! But as per above comments, it arrived in a jiffy bag and has creases and marks all over it. Terrible way to ship games, especially LTD editions at this price!

Sorry to hear that bro, i emailed them about this a long time ago telling them that i loved their company but would never buy another Collectors/Limited from them, they said they would look into it but they obviously just don't give a damn.

Mines already arrived, the box is massive. Like two large cereal boxes stuck together

^ was just gonna say my Amazon order has just been dispatched.
I'd laugh (sort of...) if it got lost in the post now

Already had my amazon order dispatched, a few £££ more but im just happy to get it.
Shopto have always been good with delivery for me, though their depot is like 10 minutes away so id hope they are.

I've already mentioned that if they provided the delivery confirmation (or lack of...) I'd be more willing to believe that they actually posted the item in the first place.

Wow.
1st... ShopTo don't post by a method which requires a signature, as far as I am aware.
2nd... My address was and still is correct. The old account was at my old address, so definitely not a Postie issue either.
3rd... I'm sure you feel all big and manly making assumptions about someone else on the internet, but you're completely wrong here. I've never committed postal fraud, and don't ever intend to.
I order and receive things almost daily from all over the place (thanks to HUKD mainly D:) ShopTo is the only one I can remember, in recent memory, where my order has not arrived.

**** ShopTo, they always reject my debit card even though it works everywhere else. Heat added but their little store is garbage.

Just because people have done that to you in the past doesn't mean that this guy is like that. I can see how egregious the act of someone claiming never to have received a package is when you're a seller but I'd suggest that you're a little too quick to pull the trigger in this instance.
Innocent until proven guilty and all that.

I've bought 1item from them and since then I can't login, not sure what's going on I click on forgot password get the thing saying they are emailing me a new one but never get the email, I do however still keep getting advertising emails from em. Very strange that and yes I've checked the spam folders and all that

He said: "Their stuff goes missing more than it arrives". That just doesn't happen unless you have failed to input your correct address or the postman is a serial thief. I've ran an online shop for 15 years and these people always come along when there is only a delivery confirmation but crawl back beneath a rock when the GPS is tracked to their door.
Saying that however Shopto never seem to track my parcels so I can only imagine how many claims they get.

I don't think there was anything disingenuous in his initial post or in the follow up he (graciously) offered me. I can't see any justification for you besmirching johnthehuman's name in the way you have. I get that people are pisstakers when it comes to items bought on the internet but I can't see a single shred of evidence to suggest that johnthehuman is one of those people...

Same here, never had a single problem with Shopto. The guy probably hasn't signed for anything and just claims it back. Seen it loads on Ebay. His account is probably shut down due to claims. Probably posted his initial message to make himself feel better and get some re-assurances.

compare your missing parcel horrors to Amazon, where if stuff goes missing they immediately refund or replace it no questions asked one time it was actually just left next door and they put it through our letter box literally just after I got the replacement

I don't even expect 'smaller' retailers to give the same service as the giants like Amazon, since I assume ShopTo can't really afford to just hand out refunds and replacements all over the place, whereas Amazon can absorb the costs.
I'd just them to be a bit more open about their policy. I don't get why you would go to all the effort of taking photos of parcels before they're shipped out, if you're not going to bother using Royal Mails delivery confirmation system.
The only conclusion I can come to, is that you can't give me a delivery confirmation because it never actually left your warehouse. A photo of a jiffy bag proves nothing, it's a false reassurance.

Not defending the high price for special editions generally but this pack does include two Amiibo figures that have a £10+ RRP each.

It's always facinating that one person can have such rotten form out of a company when another (i.e. me) can not have a single blip of a problem. Thanks for the reply, though; I realise that you could quite equally have told me to mind my own business. It has definitely helped shape my opinion of Shopto so I appreciate your time.

I rarely use them, and to be honest I can't see my extended order history, because I deleted my old account with them, and I no longer have access to that email account. I deleted the account when they were hacked / leaked whatever credit card numbers about 10 years ago, and my account was compromised.
I can remember specifically two orders disappearing from back then.
I recently re-signed up because they were the only place with Persona 5 in stock, and I never received the item. Once I get my refund I'll be closing my account again
It really bugs me that they post via a Royal Mail method that gives you delivery confirmation (not tracked details), but they refuse to use it to prove (or otherwise) that your parcel hasn't been delivered, and instead make you wait until Royal Mail accept that it's "lost".

I used to swear by Shopto but I had some awful experiences with them. Had a couple of orders go missing, but the worst one I had was I ordered the R2D2 Xbox 360 console and they'd sent my order to an old address of mine that hadn't been used on Shopto in about three years. Order confirmation and the despatch email had the correct address on there, which was the address my card was registered to, but it still somehow got sent to a completely wrong address.
They refused to take any blame for it and after weeks of hassling them, they sent me some XXL promo tshirts as a gesture of goodwill (I'm a medium), but they made it clear it was not as an apology or accepting any blame. Never used them since

And that's if the jiffy bag ever turns up. Their stuff goes missing more than it arrives, in my experience.

I've always wondered about comments like this: is what you've said actually true or just the emotional impression that your mind has formed? I've looked at my Shopto purchase history and it currently stands at 32 orders - not one of which has ever failed to arrive (or indeed arrived late).
I'm not saying that there have never been any issues with Shopto over the course of their history but what numbers are you playing with here? How many orders have you placed and how many have not arrived?
Again, I'm not saying that you're wrong or misguided, I'm just trying to get a feel for the numbers involved in a comment like this. It's curiosity, really; I've no love/loyalty for Shopto per se.

I have always had love for shopto. Most of the time they are the cheapest and PRE orders always arrive early and limited box edition have always arrived in a box for me.
This set is very big so would have to be a very big jiffy for that lol

As much as I love Shopto, they send Collectors/Limited editions in large jiffy bags so unless your ok with a damaged box the go for it
