couldn't decide which saw to buy so I thought I'd have a gamble on this, used it at the weekend and it was great, much better than expected.
Great value for money, I'll probably stick with it as I have no complaints.
The Energer ENB455CSW 185mm 220-240V circular saw is comfortable to use and durable. The soft-grip handle makes working for long periods easy, and the steel base and guard help to keep wear and tear down while protecting the tool's vital components. Soft-start technology means the saw is protected from excess voltage during start-up, increasing its lifespan. The 24-tooth TCT blade can cut at a depth of up to 64mm, with an angle of up to 45°. A lock-off switch and spindle lock are also fitted to ensure safety during use.

I have bought a few Energer branded tools from my local trade counter, and they have been excellent quality and bargain prices, so have some heat.

If you did not like it, could have not stuck with it?

potentially I may not have been pleased, and continued to keep an eye out for a good deal on something else, I suppose.
no worries though as seem to be fine for my requirement.

You have to be sharp to get cutting deals like these.

Found the Energer stuff a bit hit and miss personally. Angle grinder has been flawless, but the power planer was just terrible - the cut depth fence sloped to one side rendering it completely useless which I only noticed after taking a slice off the bottom of a solid interior door. The Erbauer stuff used to be their bottom price bracket but they seem to have put them up a bit to fit this value range in underneath.

I've found it to be solid and have no safety concerns while using it as intended.
