remember you need an acid component in your bake in order to get a rise from bicarb. use baking soda if you don't

Great price - works out cheaper than buying the 500g box from Wilko.

I use this to brush my teeth (great!), then I put a bit in my sparkling water to lower the acidity. Sometimes I wake up dizzy; a bit of bicarbonate in a glass of water pulls me up again.

Great for fish ponds! I find my Koi especially get very stressed and can die if the water becomes too acidic (heavy rain) so a scoop or two of bicarb every now an then slowly increases the ph to safe levels
