fast pass is only on selected rides and you swipe your ticket and gives you a time to return. it's only valid on one ride per day. so if you go for one day you can only fast pass one day.

This isn't entirely true.
You can indeed get extra Fastpasses however it depends on the time of your first one. Say you get a Fast Pass for Star Tours early you will be able to get another at a later time. It will tell you at the bottom of the Fast Pass ticket the time you are able to try and get another one.

Check yesterday's deal, it went over 1000 degree, seems so much better
I was just replying to the person who says you can only get 1 a day.

If you take costumes for the kids that correspond to the ride you get priority access (fast track even on rides without fast track option) ie :-
Pirates ride = Disney pirates of the Caribbean costume
Peter pan ride = peter pan or Tinkerbell costume
Snow white ride = snow white costume
Buzz shooting ride = any toy story costume
Thunder mountain = Woody or Jessie costume
Star Tours = Jedi costume
Well worth taking a collection with you, also they cost an arm and a leg in the park (i seem to remember about 60 Euros a dress ! ouch)
