Spotted in Tamworth Asda, appeared to be lots of reductions on various cds dvds and blu rays for a pound.
Cheapest price is 7 pound on eBay so really cheap for a good quality album!

Can't grumble for £1, a truly massively over rated album and it's understandable why because of the circumstances around its release, has to be one of his weakest albums though. There's no comparison with this album and say Hunky Dory or most of his 70's era albums.

The 70s albums are my favourites too but this still very good and as I find with most of David Bowie's work it grows on you and soon becomes your new favourite.

Totally different style and honestly I don't think you can compare. You're not going to get the same album from 70s drug fuelled Bowie and cancer riddled, terminal Bowie.
I really liked blackstar. Give it a few listens and it's a great album.

Thats like expecting Usain bolt to still run 100m in under 10seconds in 40 years time? Bowie was young and hungry when he wrote hunky dory... A LOT has happened to this man since! Compare ANY album in the last 10 years to hunky dory.. I rest my case.

This album is awesome (my opinion before he died) and my opinion of it has increased now knowing that he was dying as he wrote it.
