I can't find any for that price. Can you give a clue which times to try? Thanks.

These crappy "deals" don't make up for the massive off-peak fare increases since Virgin took over the franchise.

Very good offer if you can find it. Just booked a day return from Doncaster to London this Saturday for £25, out in first class, back in standard!

re "Weekend" First Class, recognise it's a slimmed down offering versus weekday - eg no free booze (and similarly watch out for cut-down on bank holidays too)
Really useful deal for those wanting a day trip on the east coast line this weekend, many thanks for posting.

Shame it's not weekend when I am travelling to London. Nice way to sell seats in the exceptionally hot weather when few people will want to sit on a train.

Breakfast was pretty much yoghurt, fruit, pain au chocolat or a muffin as said in the menu link above. Thought they might of had something simple and hot like a bacon bun but no.
Came round 4 times I think between Doncaster and Kings Cross.
