Had been looking for a decent outdoor Bluetooth speaker to take camping etc. Would love a UE Boom but can't justify spending that much.
Went into lidl for a little pizza and bought this for 14.99, now I've got it home and charged it. It's class, definitely loud enough and has a decent bass.
Would definitely recommend

'Splashproof' ? In this country it needs to be 'drenched-to-f***-proof'

Love the passive-aggression of this line.
Implication: if you don't I'll smash your 'hotukdeals outdoor speaker' with a large sledgehammer (and possibly your head too).
Of course you should be considerate when using speakers, that goes without saying. I'm a bit baffled why you want to come on a deals thread and impart this like some sort of condescending headmaster?

Please tell me your parodying some 1950s public information film, or do you really speak like that all the time...?

Lidl speakers are renowned for being superb.
I'd go buy one, but I got the kitsound2 for £29.99 yesterday:-, which has better battery efficiency

I wonder if it would be comparable to the UE Boom 2, JBL Flip, JBL charge... or does cheap=rubbish

My mate has a UE Boom so I'll try them out together one day and make comparisons. I'm expecting better sound quality and deeper bass from the UE Boom and I imagine it'll go louder but for 14.99 I cannot complain about this.

Obviously those naughty little chilli and tomato ones from the bakery, bloody delicious m8. Thinking of posting them on HUKD to enlighten people that haven't had the pleasure of eating or yet.

Outdoor speakers can be antisocial.
Make sure they are used where nobody else can hear them.

bet you're the life and soul of the party aren't you! perhaps they should just ban the sale of all speakers and replace them with headphones.....2 positives come from this.....you wouldn't have to listen to anyone elses music and anybody that knows you wouldn't have to listen to your moaning
