Or alternatively you could pop into Lidl over the weekend and pick up a case of their South African Cab Shiraz for £2.99 a bottle (normal price is £4.49). It's deffo not grotty cheap plonk.
This wine went downhill from 2013, still very drinkable though.

Great deal but really an £8 wine to start with probably not.VERY difficult to get decent supermarket red wine but at thon price I'll get a dozen

Ah !! A bottle of cheap plonk, and "Movies for Men". What more could you ask for?
Yeah, its nowhere near as good as it used to be, nearly as bad as the acting and gfx in some of the films they sponsor.
Lidl/Aldi sell nicer, cheaper plonk.
