Max Spielmann (located within Tescos) have massive packs of HP photo paper at £2, with a little sign saying "manager's special". So far as I can tell it seems they have swapped printers and are getting rid of paper they can no longer use. I've seen it in two separate stores in Newport (Spytty Road, and Harlech Retail Park), so I suspect it might be nationwide where available.
I believe it is intended for inkjet printers but how well this would work on consumer inkjet printers I don't know.
The pack I got has the product code CG940A and it says it is HP Vivid Photo Paper, Glossy, 6.25"x8.5" / 15.9x21.6cm. It doesn't say how many sheets are there but I'd guess about 200. There was also other sizes but this was the largest I could see.

I expect they'll be waiting for the subsequent rush on print cartridges! :man:

In response to this posting I called in the photo shop of my local Tesco,(Newbury Extra, Pinchington Lane), yesterday (1/06/17).
They had it there exactly as the poster described and I purchased a pack to try with my Canon 4200 Inkjet printer. The test photo printed perfectly on this glossy,(not thin), paper and it is likely I will buy 1 more pack for use as trial prints before making 10x8`s on expensive paper. The assistant was surprised and pleased that it was being promoted on HUKD. he said they had quite a bit in stock.
