I have the 50" version and yes its an 8 bit panel but picture quality is fine. Obviously it helps having a decent source to watch from. Don't have sky q or bt sports so not sure what their 4k quality is like but normal hd upscales fine and even sd content is watchable.
The only issue is that the firefox os it uses is end of life so no more new applications but all the catchup/streaming apps are there and work fine, especially Netflix since it has the dedicated button on the remote.
Viewing angles aren't great though. I'll keep mine for a year or two and then upgrade.
Can the feet be adjusted on this more towards the centre ? Argos answers say yes but reviewer says no

Yes it can, only the 40 inch version of this tv can't be adjusted.

I've been looking at it the last few days. I'd like a 3D TV before they stop making them. Gets good reviews in general but have seen some negative comments about banding... clouding.. etc..
I'm still using an LG plasma from 6 year ago... which has been terrific.
Not sure if I'd regret upgrading to the 750b

I thought Very would be ok as they are not listed and are not high street sellers, they do not have shops do they?
Seems a con on the 5 year deal, is this aimed at buying from independent shops?

I have this TV and it ranges from good to excellent. I find myself messing with it quite a bit though I think the problem is more me changing levels on picture presets. It does give a much better picture than I have ever been used to and I think I'm picking upon things just because I'm not used to the clarity. I paid £729 at Richer Sounds getting the 6 year warranty.
Every seller which fine for extended warranty clearly shows this on their page... Very is not eliglible

I got the 750b which is a 100hz panel compared to the 50hz of the 700b.
Have to say, it has a beautiful picture but you do have to mess about with the settings. Try the settings on av forums.
I also have sky q which doesn't auto set your settings when switching to 4k. Make sure your colour gamut is set to rec 2020 or will just look like normal hd.

I have the 58dx802b, no visible lag with gaming, some pixelation in dark areas when upscaling 720p and SD content, which is probably because it's hard to upscale these formats to 4K. 1080p content (especially bluray) looks phenomenal and pretty near to native 4K. 4K blurays are out of this world. Black levels across the board are superb. I came from having a pioneer Kuro, which I still use in second room, but have no complaints and actually prefer the picture on this than the Kuro.

High quality great value TV. Once I got my settings as I like them I was very happy. Not perfect but not £2k. Some minor motion issues otherwise this TV would be perfect. By the way once the sound is set to Bass Boost and max bass it really is adequate for most TV though a good Soundbar is recommended for big action movies. :smirk:
