I appreciate this flight route and airline may not appeal to everyone but I think that just over £1k to fly to the USA Business Class on a lie flat bed is a great deal.
In fact for the same route its actually more expensive to fly in the main cabin.
You get to fly business class on the transatlantic part of the route and 1st class on the domestic part.
1 change, and of course you get access to the business lounges.
If anyone can find any better USA Business class deals to destinations other than the east coast please post them. I often travel to the Mid West and occasionally to the West Coast and always like a good deal.
Looks like this deal is for at least July, August and September.

What's there to do in Oklahoma? Is there a Primark?

Hmmm - yes a deal but AA have always had and recently increased their dire reputation.

Great price. I guess they don't have a lot of high end business class customers who say "forget New York or LA, I'm going to Oklahoma"!

Just goes to show how many of you have not even bothered to read the title or other posts in the thread, it's not even the same airline this is American Airlines not United Airlines

Yeah it's a good deal. It's difficult finding good prices for US destinations other than the places the likes of Norwegian and Thomas Cook go to. I ended up getting a direct flight to Vegas, stay overnight and then use Allegiant to get to Grand Rapids, because flights aren't cheap to Michigan. I'll be getting a return to Vegas after that so the trip isn't all bad.

...all this is assuming they don't physically assault you in an attempt to remove you from the flight that you've just paid £1046 for

To be clear American Airlines are not United Airlines, it's two entirely different companies. AA are pretty decent. They partner with BA so a good way to earn tier points too.

Not a bad price for business class - you can actually get some sleep in those seats. I've only ever flown AA in economy class and while it's true that they treat you like sheep and the food is inedible (make sure you eat before you get on), the seats are more comfortable than the equivalent seats in BA.

good price, interesting location to visit to. ive flown AA quite a lot from Manchester and It does the job,( agree about the food though, although the hot Pizza is ok :-) ), even in economy, or preferably MCE for a few pounds more

Can this be booked through ba.com? if so how many tier points do you get? Also where is the via point? i flew back from JFK to MAN with AA last year and their business class was very outdated and really not worth the money

I have not checked if it can be done via BA. There is 1 connection with this flight in Chicago.
