Found this ladder on Argos. Seems like a decent price. Been watching this on Argos site for a few days and pretty certain this was £79.99 (although the website doesnt show it as discounted, just their lowest ever price)

Link seems to be broken, Argos product code 428/7458. It's one of those ladders that have the ratchet type hinges

I can't comment on this model but I have a Abru ladder almost exactly like this and it's really solid - more so than the other step Ladders I have.
The only gripe is that the feet are quite wide which could be an issue for tight spaces. Had no problem holding 2 of us doing plasterboard.
I should note that I was paranoid on ladders and also considered the maplin version but my Abru could take more weight and was a bit thicker. Milage may vary depending on model

If it's the Maplin version (which I paid £39.99) I can confirm as the above poster it is solid.
Pluses: It stores away great, it's easy to use and is solid.
Negatives: It is too short to reach upstairs windows, don't even think about stretching to reach them. The platform is too high for painting ceilings or inside work. The wrungs are square which for prolonged periods will hurt your feet.
Not knocking the OP as it is probably the cheapest you can buy this product but I've seen this for under £50 on the Maplin site in the past year.

I bought this last month for a similar price from Argos. Much better than the telescopic ladders (which are death traps) and the different positions will provide multiple uses in the future. I use it for repointing and replacing mortar around windows on the first floor. You won't be able to reach the top of the windows on the first floor (of a three bed semi). I've also used it for putting bird boxes up on the side of the house. It folds away small, is light and very sturdy when up. The folding larches have a knack to them but you will get the hang of them quick. I have not once felt unsafe on it, nor has it collapsed on me. The stabilising feet can be taken on or off.

Do you notice also that if using against a wall inside that the nuts/bolts damage the wall. I wrapped mine in bubble wrap.

Thanks Op I have seen a version of this in LIdl that has 2 metal plates with it so it can be used as a working platform. Usually about the same price but they havce a 3 YEAR Warranty
