You might find this helpful: http://sunshinestacey.com/category/school-holidays/
Or if you want to put a holiday together yourself, which i tend to do,Trivago, kayak.co.uk or holiday supermarket. For flights i go to Monarch first and for transfers gocompare. Also look for voucher codes for holiday companies which my knock 10 or 20% off a booking,or even beat a competitors price by the same. Keep looking as prices change daily.Weekend prices are usually dearer i believe. Hope that helps.

Set alerts for keywords on this and you will find quite a few that are posted by agents as well

Quiet, small resort, but will be a nice temperature in May. Stayed in this resort a couple of times and it's great for families as the beach is big and the bars etc are family orientated. You can easily hire a car if you want to go further afield.

For the past couple of years, I have put my holiday together myself as well. I usually wait until the Ryan Air flights to drop and then hunt around for accommodation - rent out somebody's 2-3 bedroom apartment with a pool. The only problem doing it this way, is that it's tricky trying to work out if that is the best/cheapest deal you will get with the flights (gives me a headache each year doing it and it is time-consuming). Also, the later you book, I have found that a lot of the private accommodation is booked up. However, I've managed to do it for the past couple of years (myself and my 4 children), and it has turned out really well.

I used to work as a rep in Thomson almost 20 years ago in arenal , its a great location, whilst it may have changed, not being a year round resort has stopped the island becoming over commercial. I would strongly recommend a hire car as its a very simple island to drive aroun and there loads of small coves to explore. as for these particular apartments they were basic but functional and the location pretty good. so at this price a big strong recommend and super hot.
make sure you visit both capitals (large towns) and if there is a fiesta going on, do everything in your power to go for a real authentic menorcean experience. in june there is one in ciutadella, st. joan is one of the biggest street parades in the world, it is not that well known outside of spain but is well attended by the cool celebrities in the know.
Go have a wonderful time but make sure you visit the small island it has a lot to offer and at this price its a no brainer.
