??? How do you make that out? The 961 iasan OEM clone of the 960 Pro................Figure that out...........
Problem is, being OEM means no drivers on the Samsung site, so be prepared for some issues.

I got and installed one last week , no issues on drivers for me windows 10 recognised it straight away and worked without intervention, works well

Yes, agreed..............but using the MS drivers.....................The Samsung drivers are a different beast........

Thanks for this, I'm happy with performance with MS drivers but a speed improvement is always good will check out enterprise.NVME drivers

They are indeed. Certainly when using Rapid Mode. But having a lower speed is a very different thing to "be prepared for some issues."
Even assuming you couldn't use Samsung's driver for the best performance, you'd be hard pressed to find a bug in Microsoft's NVMe driver that ships with Windows. It'll work fine.

Can this be used to replace a hdd drive. Are the connections the same? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Insert the M.2 into the laptop; image the existing C: drive to M.2 using your favorite free imaging software; take out the hard drive OR change the boot order to start with the M.2 drive. A fast laptop with reasonable storage for about £255.
Here's a picture of the easily accessible hard drive/M.2 bay.

I think you misunderstood, I meant that getting the Samsung drivers may present some challenges................Not that the Win drivers would present any issues, they work OK, just not as optimised as they could be........
