Not to be confused with the popular so-called lagers that have been shamefully altered in taste and lowered to a standard 4.8%alc by AB InBev/SABMiller....'reducing the alcohol level by 0.2 per cent from 5 per cent will mean less duty payable to the UK Government as well as lower raw material and energy costs'

Since 2000 I've worked with South Africans, Russians, Bulgarians, and two Polish IT technicians, if the majority of English worked as hard as these folks then Britain truly would be great. There's definitely hard working English people, but to generalise that Eastern Europeans are swan eating drunks is nonsense, only some of them are just like some of the English are idiots too. Many Eastern Europeans are leaving the UK, so the farmers better get their robots working as the English are too work shy for the job. "I won't get out of bed for less than £10 an hour and only to play my Playstation mate and smoke weed all day". Also not all people on benefits are scroungers either, I thought I might as well do the whole lot whilst I'm here
Me: 46 years old. Born in England, lived in Wales for 20+ years, been on benefits for 4 years of my life 2002-2006, worked for most of my life, been ill with mental health problems, still working, working keeps me alive, c'est la vie. Everyone is different.
I remember when I worked in London the security guard in work told me a story he said he went back home to Leeds and was telling them about working in London, and one of his mates said "Oh yeah but there's loads of black people in London, can't be good living there" The security guard turned round and said "Well it's a lot better than living with a bunch of racists!"
Anyway this is BBQ weather so time to let the beer flow, I'll try and not kill any swans if I can help it.

The Polish need to stick to Vodka, no offence intended, their beer is too gassy, if I have to drink their beer then it's Zywiec that I drink. Lech isn't too bad, Tyskie I think might be the most popular Polish beer but it's horrible.
The Czech's and Slovaks know how to make beer, Zlaty Byzant, Pilnsner Urquell, Kozel, Budweiser Budvar, they're all good stuff.

Bought Budvar mini keg during Morrisons' last offer - very disappointed. I hear what you're saying though. These are not the best of the Polish, but better than the normal crap, imo

All those beer you just mentioned are tasteless international light lagers. Virtually indistinguishable one from another. Polish craft beers are great and you should try this instead of basing your opinion on beer style that is identical all over the world;)

Sadly of the Polish ones you mentioned, Zywiec is owned by Heineken and Tyskie and Lech are owned by SABMiller, so about as authentic as cocacola... Okay maybe not that bad but still not a patch on what we have here. Thus with beer the only thing the Polish seem to be sticking to are multinationals.
Speaking of which, never heard of Zlatý Bažant but it's been owned by Heineken for over 20 years whilst Kozel is also owned by SABMiller.
