To be fair stock does seem to come and go all the time. PS4 copy also seems to jump to £20 often as well.

Is it as difficult as the first one? I got so attached to my squad only to watch them die due to some poor miscalculation on my part. Such heartbreak.

I'd say its significantly harder than the first one. I completed the original on Normal with no real issues and very few deaths but could barely make any progress on XCOM 2 without playing on Easy.

First game was awesome, this not so much. Heat for price.

Difficulty is brutal, and the game does whatever it can to make you feel stressed at all times, even when not in a mission. You rarely get the feeling your are having the edge.
Still, I can't stop playing it...

This is my sort of game and bought it from Game before for £15. Already feel like I got my moneys worth and still not quite finished my first play through. I will definitely play through again on a harder level.

I found it starts hard, but once you manage to get a few soldiers to level up and get stronger you can last longer. Just make sure you always target those darn seconds ASAP.
