Thomas Cook did a flash sales in November. I picked up two returns to San Fran for £300. Going in 3 weeks time from Manchester. Ok it's no frills but £300 return to the West Coast? Alright with me.

If it's anything the other travel agents 'sales' they'll be about 10 seats on each flight at that price.

With these TC sales I've noticed it's when there's probably a sales lull. The partner flights with Lufthansa end up being longer than just getting a direct flight, and if you booked with flight centre or somewhere during a sale you might end up getting a close to similar deal.
I bought one to MIA a few years ago and the outgoing flight out had less than 30 people on it.

We're booked on flight to miami from MCR on the 26th May, and looking at the seat plans (to pick seat preferences etc), there's a lot of empty seats. Possibly there'll be more than the 10 seats per flight to ensure they get a fuller flight maybe.
