Tescos are clearing old discontinued sat navs in store. This seems the best value.
Drive Assist is the more advanced of the Garmin sat nav. Still showing at £119 in Halfords. And £167 on amazon.
This unit does not come with the traffic receiver cable , but if you're upgrading from a previous unit you can use the old one - and use this unit's cable on the old one.
Great value. The UK equivalent with traffic is still showing over £100 - so get this and source a traffic receiver cable on eBay. Still good value.
Showing as 99.99 on Tesco Direct , but in store in Trafford Tesco was 59.15

Garmin are pretty crap stanavs these days. Their maps look like kids drawings, street names spelled incorrectly, text to speech is poor. Tomtom, even with all their faults are still streets ahead (pardon the pun). Mobile phone, tablets, etc. are up there now, and will soon overtake them all.
Bottom line is £59 is about all it is worth!

Personally, as the owner of both I find them similar in quality with only a slight preference in the way TomTom is laid out. But for how they present on screen and 'speak' the modern ones are similar in quality.

I agree. Garmin used to be in the middle of the sat nav market. Now they are very similar to TomTom and a bit cheaper.

I have tried this with the old Traffic receiver and can confirm it works. As for BIGEYE's comment , I understand his sentiment as I feel the same about Tom Tom. All I can say is I've had Garmins for 7 years. No major problems. Speed alerts are a godsend.

Scanned at £119 in Colchester Tesco last night. Are you sure this wasn't a reduced sticker item OP?

Chester Road Tesco (Trafford) have these at £119.99 so unless the op found one with a yellow sticker, it's still full price, i checked today, the travel edition ones in the green boxes are reduced, the 4.3 inch priced with a shelf label at £74.19 i think but the 5 inch one was reduced to £67.49 according to a staff member using their app
I bought the Aldi Garmin Nuvi 58 LMT that was £89.99 down to £69.99 but it's a gift for someone so I'm not faffing over a couple of quid if this is a better one
