Ok may not be for everyone and doesn't match the 649 in last sale but not a bad price. It already has £80 off but if you use code LAPTOP10 you get 10% off bringing it to 692 at currys.
Amazon is cheapest so far at 746 last I looked
edit: as per comment Amazon are matching this price too.

They're great for commuting if you need to do serious work, and in corporate environments it looks more professional to use them
I use an Alienware laptop as a desktop replacement to take to client sites for my main work, but everything work related I do on that I can really do on the Surface, and it's great for clients to put it into tablet mode to demonstrate things without bothering to setup projectors

Amazon deal posted a few weeks ago was better at £647 which included the pen.
I would also recommend anyone looking to get one to wait until next week as there is a Microsoft event being held on the 2nd of May and its to do with the Microsoft Surface so there is potentially a new version on the horizon.
EDIT: Amazon still has the same bundle but at the same price as this deal £692

I don't thing you will see them drop too much below 650 just by going off how the pro 3 went . You may get the deal with the type cover for the 650 mark though so worth looking out.
For those who need a little breath room for paying I think currys do buy now pay 6 months later .

Two things: the pen comes with all Surface Pro 4s. Also, given the hardware issues the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book had at launch, I wouldn't touch either of those for 9-12 months after launch, to give MS a chance to fix whatever it is they're going to break this time round.
Picked one up a while back when they were at £650ish, and I'm very pleased with it

I think his point was the announcement of a new one will see prices of the 4 drop by £100 or so.

Not faulting the hardware but these things are a fad and at that price are no substitute for a decent notebook.
I see so many people in offices buying these and then regretting not buying a notebook.
Only advantage I can see is that this may not fry your legs

Agreed, it is a poor replacement for a notebook. The Surface Book is much better, but also significantly more expensive.

It does an excellent job.
If you dont have a good desktop then a proper laptop/notebook is more beneficial but the surface still packs a wallop in power but I agree the price is overinflated for what it is but not as much as apple.
