Personally I think it's ridiculous. I too don't wish to bring that discussion into here, but we're discussing a platform with multiple sellers, much in the same way that eBay, Amazon, Gumtree and many others work. They're all platforms that require trust, and we have to give that trust as a buyer. We (you) can't determine that any individual seller on any platform is a scammer, it's arrogant to do so.

Well, as I'm sure you're aware. That's nothing to do with me. It's a great game at a great price. I just want to promote great deals for us, the gamers. I'm aware of the issues, I'm not stupid, but like I said earlier, we can't single out individual sellers on a platform very much like eBay.
We buy clothing off eBay that could be fake, or TVs that could be stolen, it's just the way the world is. I'm not promoting Kinguin as the seller, just TriftShop. It's a great price, that's undeniable, it's up to the individual if they wish to purchase.

I suppose a lot are quite shady, not just eBay sellers but CDKeys too who are allowed.
But i think we all know why certain sites are allowed *cough* referral links *cough*

Sadly, both now are, at least for the time being, :disappointed:
What background information do you have on TriftShop, Illuisionary? Or are you just tarring a brush here?
It's funny how we're quick to condemn, but never question any seller on eBay, who could quite easily be doing the same thing under a branded name. Is the issue with Kinguin or TriftShop?

CDKeys are a seller in their own right, rather than a platform for sellers of keys of unknown origin. They're quite open that the get at least some of their keys from buying from cheaper regions - so, while still not as wholly 'legitimate' as they might be, it's quite a different position from G2A/Kinguin, etc.- including eBay in the context of digital keys.
No complaints about TriftShop specifically, but with Kinguin as a platform.
I wasn't really looking to bring the debate into this thread - the link was just intended as informational in replying to JimBobJr's original question.

You have nothing to base that on sadly. Over 1000 feedback and 100%. A couple of years ago people on here bought cheap consoles on here that never happened. Who decides what gets posted here illusionary, You? Covered by PayPal and the chances an Arkham City key getting revoked after all these years. It's just a bandwagon.
