Hiya Johnny I have just received mine 10mins ago whoo hoo! so thought would let yas know. lol.
Wow 4 times that amounts crazy fab! Yeah there service is 2nd to none. Ages ago I purchased my 1st kindle and it went missing well I was watching it I know for a fact it went missing with the courier he picked up from his depot and it was gone on way to me it jumped off his van into his pocket! Xmas scam but poor Amazon had to send me another! Shame other companies can't take a leaf out of their book. wow £18 for your watches. I didn't get the watch Louise posted it had gone up it was actually the ladies watched you posted I got i paid about £18 after postage and that's gone up to £175 on UK site. so Thank you!!
yes Louise's post should have been mass full heat!! Fab deal I hope the watch she posted comes on again as I would like that too. Thanks for post Louise hope I catch early if back again  Thank you to the both of you!<3

Hi Blossom. Just checking it was actually almost 4 times the amount of the original tablet. Awsome customer service. My Rotarys arrived today all ticking along nicely. Cost me £18 each. Noticed 2 have returned to original price of £150/£175. A bit unrealistic really.
Rotary are mass produced watches. Their design and reliability sets them apart from most of the cheaper brands. Most Rotary watches look fantastic. At £18 these were a steal. Great Xmas presents. Dont know why this post by louiselouise didnt make it into the 1000s.

Perseverance pays off. Well done Blossom123. As louiselouise says Amazon customer service is excellent. My son had a number of Amazon Fire tablets sent to him and all had faulty pixels. As a gesture of goodwill they gave him 3 times the cost of the tablet to spend how he liked. Not many companies are as generous as that.

thanks Johnny57uk yeah it did  wow with your son! that amazing! And yes like I said above never normally have a problem always the best customer service & because if that I continue to use Amazon. This was I guess bc it was Italy hopefully they will take my comments on board to make it easier to contact Amazon in other countries in the future. Good result in end though, just hope the next doesn't have a dead battery

Yeah I've never had a problem with Amazon UK but once the ball got rolling all worked out I gave them a fab review on customer service, I did ask for it to be made easier to contact Italy too. They're the only company I know with outstanding service this was just a bit awkward as in Italy guess.
It should be shipped next week it's still pending at moment and yeah 2

6 May 171#45
Wow, that's quite a result (I assume the dead battery one isn't completely kaput) so there's potential there for TWO watches!
Amazon have always been brilliant with customer service in my experience

Like johnnyd57uk said, it's not that unusual to get a watch with a dead battery.
Find out if you can get a cheap jeweller (say, on a market stall or something) to put a new battery in - and ask Amazon for the difference. Like I said, I don't know about the Dolphin Standard aspect, but a jeweller will know better.
This is hardly a huge crisis so I'm sure Amazon will offer a solution soon.
Edit: Also, as regards communication with amazon.it - I know amazon.de don't offer Live Chat in English but they DO offer telephone customer service in English. That might be another option, if Italy is the same.
I'd be very surprised if Amazon string you along.
And if you do buy the (now much more expensive) UK model and send back the dead battery watch - apart from using the same address/risking a ban (depending on how you order it), what if you receive another that's DOA?

Hi Louise just to let you know they are sending another one out & I don't even need to send back the dead batt one

It's not about the battery yes can pick one up for £5 but if want to keep waterproof it's about £20 well it used to be. Still no reply, yes customer service UK normally great help but Italy No! they're taking the p** now.
This is down to principal for me now, I don't bk down! lol. I will let you know if all is resolved.

Dead batteries are fairly common from my experience. My delivery is not due for a few days so I hope they are legit and ok. Never had a problem with Amazon so far.
I bought a couple of different watch repair kits from Amazon and Ebay. Very cheap and saves a packet. If you buy a round face watch it would be worth your while to buy some Savvies watch screen protectors.
I wouldn't recommend ordering the same watch from Amazon UK and then returning it. They already have a log of your issues with the amazon.it watch.
If you play funny beggars with Amazon, they can ban you if you take the mick.
Unfortunately people switching items with fakes is a BIG problem for Amazon and Amazon Warehouse, so they are pretty ruthless if they catch you (mind you, I don't know how vigilant they are, judging by some of my Warehouse purchases!).
Honesty is the best way to go.

I'm surprised Amazon UK aren't being more supportive. Yes they probably need to tick a few boxes over at amazon.it, but it's a global company, and the stock is in the UK, so the same customer service should apply worldwide.
Stick to your guns and maybe try Live Chat. Wait and see what amazon.it say, if you have no luck with Live Chat.

Hi Louise, yeah spoke with UK Amazon they have to email Italy why I don't know as yes came from here, but they can't do anything? spoke with 2 different people they said no one spoke English in Italy and need someone to send email in English. i did ask why can't you just send me another & I'll return this, but no! as for battery yeah could change but like you said so i won't be until later down line. always my luck so disappointed

Did Amazon tell you this? If so, you need a second opinion. If amazon.it aren't helping, I would talk to Amazon UK over the phone.
You should be returning it to the UK, as my amazon.it-bought Rotary watch came from the UK. If the watch is considered to be "faulty" or at least it is a great hassle to get it working as expected (re replacing battery with waterproof seals), you shouldn't have to pay any postage.
My watch seems to be okay, mercifully.

Mine arrived just a minute or two off. Adjusted it and will watch (ha) to see if it's keeping good time.
Normally a dead battery isn't a great heartache, if you're resourceful you can easily change it yourself. However, as this has some sort of waterproof seal (I assume) as it's Dolphin Standard, it may need to be done by an authorised retailer - so I would talk to Amazon about this.
Not sure what solution they'll offer but they're always very helpful.

Still lots to chose from. Just put in Rotary as a search. Then sort by Prezzo Crescente. Great pressies. Many thanks to Louiselouise
Cracking find. I found this earlier and bought this and another ladies Rotary watch plus 2 gents Rotary chronographs. Ones on Ebay selling for £264.I bought the 4 including this one for £72. The Recommended retail prices are silly but 4 decent watches for peanuts is definitely a hot deal.
Opening post
