So close to hitting 'confirm payment' using my whole 56p to make the deal look sweeter to me.
My wife however when another game turns up in the post will go supersonic!
If only this was digital :-( I could add it to the hidden stockpile

I loved Alan Wake and Remedy's story telling in my opinion is superb. It's like being in a Stephen King film. The action is great and the use of light and shadow (you'll see) is terrific. Lots of tense moments. My cousin couldn't complete it as he couldn't take any more scares. But then, he is a bit of a wet lettuce leaf.
Make sure you follow the story properly and you'll have a great time. Superb graphics too.
Quantum Break is kind of similar but more of an action/sci-fi tale than a horror/mystery. I enjoyed Alan Wake more but both games are superb and a lesson in making a quality and original game mechanic. £9.99 is a ridiculously good price.

Its a great game. Seriously underrated. The graphics have a weird effect to them but i loved the story and the episode bits. Its fairly unique and worth the time it takes to play.

It's a fun game. The time shifting powers make things a bit easy though so play it on hard to get your money's worth.
