When looking into where is the cheapest to get this game for Switch i discovered that it's £30+ and it isn't even available in the UK on the Switch store (yet), if i had to guess i'd say it's gonna be same as the retail price. This is cheaper by a good £6 and digital for this kind of puzzle game is definately better in my opinion. Despite what you think about paying more than 79p for a Tetris game, this is still the cheapest by far.
Making multiple accounts on your Switch is essential in my eyes, having one for the three main regions (US, UK and Jap) was the first thing i did on mine. If you make a Japanese one now you can download a demo of this game  - This method literally takes 15 mins to set up once, once completed you can just keep the accounts on your Switch and buy off other regions whenever you want to.
-Then you want to get some credit for your US account - cheapest way is obviously getting a $10 and a $20 card: https://www.pcgamesupply.com/buygames/Nintendo-Wii-Points-Card/ - These are completely 100% reliable ive used them tons of times with my American new 3DS and lots of Xbox credit.
-Apply that to your US account by redeeming the codes you receive in your email. When the game becomes available in the US (April 25th) then basically buy it and download and enjoy the craziness of this game!

Whilst I'd rather have this digitally, I don't want a bunch of accounts lying around. Makes the games feel less like they're mine. When I have them all under one roof (account) it feels like my collection. Good deal for those that don't mind though.

I completely agree with this. But i think on switch its going to be essential if you wanna get digital games cheap.

The switch is smart with how u go between accounts, as you select the eshop it asks you which profile you wanna use, which basically equates to which regions store do you want to use. No messing about with system settings and changing regions like Xbox One.
Nintendo have always been awful with region specific releases and release dates so somewhere down the line they're bound to release something earlier in another region and, as mentioned by someone else, it's usually cheaper too.
Like I said, it's essential to do this.

Played the demo and this game is great fun
Although the Puyo Puyo is really unbalanced when playing against a Tetris player.
Also interesting fact: This game came out in Japan way back in 2014

Heat, nice find OP!
As already stated, you need a US account to access the us eShop, but once redeemed and downloaded you can access the game using your UK account.
Setting up a US account is quick and easy!

Being the cheapest available doesn't necessarily equate to being a good deal for me. £24 for a Tetris game is an absolute ripoff, so cold from me sorry (nothing personal).

Believe or not, 4 of us played Puyo Puyo Tetris demo in 1v1v1v1 swap mode for the whole night on Easter Monday, and this is the most fun we've had for a very long time.. I can't tell exactly why, but this game certainly has its magic..

So why read this post then, stupid comment imo.
Heat from me to balance this out. (And because it's a good deal for a good game)

You don't get how this works. If it's the cheapest place to buy THIS GAME it should be hot. This isn't somewhere to vote based on your personal opinion.

It's £34.99 to pre order on the UK eShop, so this is a good deal

Still waiting for the English demo to drop too. Would love to know what the menu items say
Incase this helps anyone, gameseek have the physical copy of the game for £26.93 which is the cheapest available at the moment and has resale value so I think it's better value than digital
I tried to post this as a deal earlier but Hotukdeals won't allow gameseek deals, dunno why, I thought they were superb with my £198 switch! ( I had loyalty points with them for ordering the switch as well so got it for £22, check your accounts to see if you got the same)
