It's really surprising how little games the Xbox has, so few that I have zero interest in the Scorpio now. It's sad as I loved my old 360, all three of them.

I'd prefer a Scorpio for its power and UHD Blu-ray drive, but all the games I'm interested in are Sony exclusives.
(already playing the Microsoft games in 4K on PC). Waiting for a price drop on the PS4 Pro seems like the logical decision.

Great price. Bought the same bundle for £365 last month as Argos never had any stock in my area.
I was tempted to wait for the Scorpio, but as someone who isn't interested in Forza and has a passing interest in Gears and Halo, I chose the Pro due to the awesome exclusives coming in the next few years. If Microsoft announce some great exclusives at E3, I'll just play them on my One S.

I dont think Frank or Dave deal with that sort of thing.

Now that the specs & aim of Scorpio has been revealed [another 4K mid-gen refresh, albeit better than PS4 Pro - to what cost though?] i'm looking forward to seeing Sony aggressively drop PS4 Slim/Pro come the end of the year, that's when i think i'll bite for a PS4 Pro... 4K doesn't interest me (at present) but 1080p60 options for existing 900/1080p30 titles does (Nioh, FFXV, Rise of the Tomb Raider, No Man's Sky).
Still heat though, when factoring the cost of Horizon

Except you need to wait for end of the year when all the amazing games are out now, Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5, Yakuza 0, Nioh and Nier Automata. If you want to go cheap just grab a slim now
Also lol at hoping for good performance for no mans buy

I have a PS4 so people will assume I'm biased, however I don't care whose better than who or who isn't, what I will say is the PS4 gives me really awesome exclusive games that I can't play on the PC/Xbox One and until I see evidence that the Scorpio will be doing that too then I won't be even considering of purchasing one. The PS4 and PC allow to me play almost any game out there except Nintendo titles of course.

Other than Street Fighter and Shenmue III there is no exclusive on the PS4 that I care about.
And both of those are on or will be on the PC.

This is one of the reasons I'm not investing in any 4K tech or discs. Sony struck a massive blow to the format when it failed to included 4K disc support in the PS4 Pro, and the format isn't impressive enough to warrant purchase of another piece of hardware just to play 4K discs. I heard from someone within the industry that 4K sales are well below expectations, so it may not last that long anyway before a better tech replaces it.

Completely agree. The Scorpio sounds awesome but all the exclusive games are on Playstation.

NMS has been patched to support a practically locked 1080p/60fps on the PS4 Pro actually.

No Pro stock near me either, so I just ordered a like-new PS4 Pro with Resident Evil 7 and Infinite Warfare off ebay for £300, only 3 weeks old barely used apparently, with the GAME receipt also, will sell the games should get a like-new PS4 Pro for £270

Too bad it still hasn't been patched to be even remotely close to being a fun game
