As you might be aware, the makers of Lucozade have decided to lower the amount of glucose syrup in their product by a half and added artificial sweeteners instead.
This has become a danger for diabetics who rely on Lucozade when their blood sugar goes well low and they now need twice as much as they did under the old recipe.
But you can still get the old cans at Home Bargains for 39p.
I have just stocked up as they will be no more before long.
Take note ......... the 8 pack of bottles available there are the new ones.

What's improper Lucozade then? I think it's the old stuff they used to drink in Carry On films.

3 for £1 in Heron if you have one nearby.. orange and original.. also have the bottles :smiley: ps these are the 'proper' ones too

In France Lucozade is virtually unknown. Diabetics are advised to carry a small 200 ml carton of orange juice to use as a fast acting glucose
