Agree, a good price; but yet again E27 fitting. Maybe it's just our (old) house that uses bayonet fittings these days (except for table lamps, which are E14 anyway!). Heat though.
These are cheaper because all of Europe uses Edison screw fittings hence quantity. You can get the adapters two for a pound at Ikea or not much more on eBay as I did.

They're only 60w equivalent so bear that in mind for larger rooms or lamps with shades. I've got one in my porch and in the kids bedrooms so I can control using Alexa. The remote is a handy wall switch by the kids beds.

they must have been half way through changing the price back to 29.99 because when I searched for hire dimmer switch I got the price of 23.99 but when I clicked on it the price jumped up. anyway I called amazon and they honoured the 23.99 price!
