I was in Morrisons in Dundee and noticed they had patio fruits trees for £5 each.
They had two different types of plum, pear and apple and were about 2-3 foot tall.
Fruit bushes included raspberry, blueberry, gooseberry, blackcurrant & tayberry to name a few.
It's a fraction of the price of some other places such as B & Q / Homebase who charge around £15 each.
Note not to be confused with the dwarf ones for £10 in their garden centres.
£2 each in Dundee which are also a good buy and healthy looking.

I'll hopefully buy an apple and pear tree.
I don't mind someone taking my apples or pears, but I don't fancy anyone grabbing my plums!

There are two different types, the dwarf fruit trees which are £10 and patio fruit trees which are £5. The dwarf ones were out in the garden centre and the patio ones in-store beside the rest of the plants ironically on the top shelf near the fish counter (if you're going to the Dundee Store)
Sorry don't know if it's national.

Possibly national, same deal in Croydon but they're pretty much sold out now. Had peach and cherry too but they sold out pretty quickly. Managed to nab one for myself

The Harwood branch in Bolton are also selling hardy fuchsias at £1 each. A great bargain as you would normally pay much more for a plant that flowers year after year.

Can you just plant these in soil and eat the fruit?
How large will these grow?
