Been looking for a compound mitre saw for a while, and these are back in sale.
Big fan of Parkside tools, has anyone had experience with these from yesteryears?
Powerful motor and Ø 210mm saw blade with laser cutting guide for high precision work on wood and plastic
With tiltable saw head and adjustable mitre
Double-bearing slide rail for precise cutting, and 2 clamping devices and lateral support brackets for securing workpiece
Includes dust collection bag and 2 spare carbon brushes
15000W* (is this a typo?

The Evo blade is multi purpose TCT, which means it also cuts stell, aluminium, copper as well as wood, plastic and composite.
The Parkside will cut wood and plastic.
The Evo has a load speed of 3750 rpm, the Parkside loads at 5000 rpm, the lower speed helps to minimise kickback of material and will prolong the life of the cutting edge.
The Evo cuts marginally deeper.
The Parkside is supplied with 2 extra carbon brushes, to me this is an indication that it is not designed fo-r constant use, and is probably a tool only for the odd job now and again. Most cheap, budget, lower spec power tools will burn carbon brush sets out very quickly indeed, this is a major red flag for this product.

The Evo i have owned for about a year gets extensively used, and has never missed a beat, it is a superbly made item. A lot of professional tradesmen i have contact with daily, use this saw as an everyday job mitre saw.
Its your money...take your pick.

The Aldi one is 10" as opposed to 210mm (8.2 inches) and 1900W.
This would make the Aldi saw a better deal (for me).
Both products are hot though.

1500w is reasonable power. Similar to my Titan from Screwfix however this has the 3 year warranty.

Just ignore this deal, spend an extra 20.00, and get the Evolution from Screwfix....it is in a different league to this Parkside one.............IN MY MOST HUMBLE OPINION.
The leg set from Aldi to house this are a good buy.
