I got some in King's Lynn Store last weekend at 39p. There was plenty of stock then.

This is quite laughable really - in a few weeks time all the big supermarkets will be stocking next Christmas stock !

Well - I certainly notice Xmas stock on the shelves in August, don't think I see it in May.....
Boxing Day the Easter Eggs go out.....in fact, Xmas eve as the staff clear all the Xmas stock onto the Sale Rails, they are already putting Easter Eggs in their place
within the 1st week of Jan = Valentine cards go onto the shelves
January/Feb = summer clothes, beach wear and sun cream
Feb 15th = Mothers Day cards and gift sets
Day after mothers day = Easter bonnets, Easter Cards, Easter Eggs, Hot-cross buns etc taking over 1/4 of the store
June = Sale of Summer clothing starts (always a good time to pick up some bargains for your holidays)
July = Autumn school uniforms and school stationery.
August = Student (Uni) stuff (bedding, laptops, stationery etc..)
August = Xmas stuff begins to appear on the shelves
1st week in Sept = Halloween stuff.......
Not that the stores are predictable at all.......:man:
